how can I check if the 3D buldings and the junction view is working?
Only on the road? If so, is this available to all cities and roads in Europe?
How can one know where it is available?

you can simulate route in your gps
You have to navigate to get to the good.

I have checked the specs and it apears that my nuvi 1410 only supports the JCV.

(Junction View) for nüvi 37xx units - D2504020A.JCV work also on nuvi 13xx and 14xx too.Put D2504020A.JCV in JCV folder and you see.

or Main map gmapprom.img
Second map gmapsupp.img
Third map gmapsup2.img
if using an SD card make a folder on it named garmin and inside that just copy your unlocked map image and call it gmapsupp.img
Remember when playing with maps make a back up of the original first
