Can anyone get us a copy of the Hebrew font updates for older Nuvi's (ie. 760)?
The English map is great, but it is difficult to find certain cities/streets in English (ie. Chashmonaim or anything with a "Ch" is "Kh" - Hatayassim is Ha-tayassim...etc.)
Would be great to be able to use Hebrew if possible.

Yes, they are different files entirely. When Garmin origionally posted this map for sale (the origional 2010 version) older Nuvi's (like my 760) could not display the text of the map at all.
I tried installing these files from a 1xxx Nuvi to my 760 and it crashed the system - had to formate the unit and reinstall from backup.

For anyone wanting to use this map in Hebrew, we will need Hebrew fonts created specifically for the older Nuvi series'.
Anyone?

Hi I have Garmin Nuvi 1350. I have copied gmapsupp.img and gmapsupp.unl (which I have generated following the link above) to /.System, /Garmin and also at the root level - no matter where I copy this pair to I don't get to see the new map under the Map Info on the device. All I see is the original CN North America map checked on. Could you please let me know what I'm doing wrong

Just download the file, unzipp it and 1-click-instalation. English compatible.

RoadTrip for MAC instalation: just click the .gmap file and it is installed!
Mapsource instalation (Unlocked): GMAP folder is Mapsource compatible. Move the GMAP folder into location: in XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps
(in Vista, Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\GARMIN\maps). Restart Mapsource.
Folders are hidden. Before moving the GMAP folder, check "Show hidden files and folders" option.
