If any link is down, then probably all files should be reuploaded, and it could be long and painful job with big files.

But if You use MapSource version than you could do with it whatever you want to do.
Unlock or not, export any part or complete, one mapset (or part) combined with other mapsets (or part), ..., whatever you can think of and all of it locked or unlocked (or combined).
All guides and tools (programs) to do it are here on forum, and if anyone have any questions about how to do it, we will help.

Hi , I am facing a problem. I have installed the Map and then unlocked it. Mapsource shows the unloecked map but if I close Mapsource and reopen it, I get the message that the map is locked. Impossible to unlock it again, I have to reinstall Mapsoure (6.15.11 Patched). Then I am able to unlock the map but if I close it ... same problem again. Any idea ?

Don't know how it is possible, but if you say so than it is.
You can completely unlock map using this guide (3. b)
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
and you could use map with any MapSource

Apologize .... my mistake. I was using a wrong procedure. Instead of copying the patched "Mapsource.exe" to the Garmin folder I was executing it ! It is working better now.

There in no free space in my Nuvi 255w for this .img file. Have deleted all files I don' t use, but still no space available. I have a SD card (2Gb) and tried to use it, but it's also small to take the .img file(1,95Gb).
My question is : do I need to buy a 4Gb SD card? I have been told that Nuvis 255w can't read 4Gb SD cards. Is that correct ?
