Any one know how to completely unlock garmin maps I would love to know how to do this I am sure it is very difficult but I would love to know the ins and outs of it so I could be the first to post some of these usfull unlocked img files any help would go down well

What is MS reg file?
I'm sorry if I am a little dumb on this, but I can't seem to know what is this
Let me make it clear I do not have any version of the mapsource already installed on this pc

it does not work it keeps saying that "Mapsource could not find any installed Mapsource Map products -- Please intall one or more Mapsource map products and start Mapsource again"
I have already tried adding that file to reg, and installed using MSMAin.msi, and also run Setup but it keeps giving me this same error

It's OK. You have installed Mapsource and now you have to install a map. Any map for Mapsource.

And how do I do to intall a map that is in the .img format to mapsource?
