Garmin Friluftskartan Pro V2 - Mellersta och Södra Norrland

BASIC FEATURES

Outdoor Map Pro Middle & Southern Norrland contains map data in vector format at a scale of 1:50000 and 1:100000
Roads, railways, trails, snowmobile trails, biking trails, etc.
Line Items boundaries, power lines, restricted areas, military areas, etc.
Point Objects such as houses, churches, masts and other landmarks
Rivers that line item
Other surfaces with attributes (buildings, forest, open land, marsh, bare mountain, etc.)
Mountain information such as snowmobile trails, hiking trails, summer and winter trails, emergency telephones, and heat homes
Contours with 10 meter contour interval of attributes was 10 meters (maps 1:100000)
Contours with 20 meter contour interval of attributes was 20 meters (maps of the mountains 1:100000)
Contours at 5 meter contour interval to attribute every 25 feet and point heights (maps 1:50,000)

Tnx catymag for this Mapsource version. Have any1 yet been succesful installing for Mapsource. Is it known if the "TPSVN2_ENU or your language install" also will install an update of MapSource, reason for asking I still run the good old 6.13.7 version which need maps in .img format to work. I do not want to update my Mapsource. Seen that this version has maps with the fileextension .rgn

you can install the new mapsource, than install the patched version or you wont be able to unlock any new map--this one too

alternatively you can put the Friluftskartan_Pro_v2_Norraland.gmap folder in your Garmin map folder without running the setup
but this will work just with the newer mapsource versions + patched one

Garmin GMAP maps can only be seen with MapSource >= v6.14.1.
To be able to use a GMAP product in MapSource v6.13.7 you must use the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
GMAP .gmp maps are enumerated at start-up by MapSource v6.15.x but .img maps need also to be in the Windows registry (with pointers to TDB, preview img, IDX etc.).

The thread title is about Mellersta & Södra Norrland (Middle & South of Norrland/"North land") IMG+MapSource. The MapSource version in post #5 is however for Norra Norrland (North Norrland/"North land") as indicated by that post itself.

@ Ballebar, tnks for yr reply...I have used the GmapTool, which is the base for the MRC, to convert all the latest AU, NA and EU Mapsource maps to 6.13.7 but no success on converting Friluftskartan Pro V2 - Mellersta och Södra Norrland IMG to Mapsource, of course also used cgpsmapper on that, but not sure why no go..and still confused as I said above about the map extension names.

I to ran into the same issues with this map (Mellersta och Södra Norrland). I'm hoping that an expert with gMapTools and cGPSmapper will come along and create the necessary folder so that we can use these maps in mapsource.
