Garmin City Navigator China v7.5 QSI ENG with Offsets Corrected
Requirements: Garmin Nuvi, PPC with WM5/WM6 and GMXT, Nokia with S60 and GMXT, PC with GMPC

Overview: The official release of this English Pinyin map has artificial offsets (coordinate deviations) added in. This release tries to revert those changes so the map can be used in all Garmin compatible GPS devices without special Chinese version of firmware and navigation software.

Will I have to use the Venus-CN-China-760-CHS-bmap, or will the basemap I have with my GarminXT International and Western Europe maps be OK?

i think Venus-CN-China-760-CHS-bmap is in chinese ,so problematic with western europe map

I'm using Southeastern Asia v4.50 NT for Hong Kong on a normal english garmin XT without the offset patch, and as far as I can tell, there is no offset. Are you sure that Hong Kong and Macau maps are offset as well?

I've now installed this along with XT International and City Nav Western Europe on a N79 and it works fine - no crashes. I'm using the included China world basemap and my Europe maps are working fine. I cant test the China maps for offset until January, but if anyone else in China can, it would be nice to hear from you
