Hi, and go easy on a complete newbie like me.
I've been reading up on this and I feel myself getting stupider as I go along. I've read so many tutorials and forums I don't know which one I was supposed to post in... sorry.
The situation is such
I got mapsource up and running with the free base map - check
I got the latest keygen - check
I got the nordic mapset from the samsung link - check
I got the Garmin Unlocker...thingie (the one with the all.bat) - check
aaand I got a headache - check. What now? How do I install the Samsung maps to Mapsource and what files need to go where, I get how I am supposed to "export" an unlocked map to my phone with mapsource but not how to install it on my pc.(and does mapsource have to be in the same folder since it installs to a separate one)
It's just too much info and I've been hopping and skipping through this and several other forums that I have joined for the soul purpose of getting this working.
Help?.. pretty please
(I'm going to be running the latest Garmin XT on a Nokia 5800 XM... garmin supports it now yay. no longer shackled to nokia maps)

can someone please answer the following:
1. are these maps and/or files updated, how do i check?
2. how do i save other maps/file in my unit? where do i get them?
3. what is the best road map file available, how often do i update them and what process do i make to update the map file.
