one problem though... there is NO possibility of keeping search index after conversion.
So... FIND option in MapSource is bye-bye...

I'm not sure what this has to do with "decompiling" IMG maps to MapSource while keeping the Find feature... but I'll look into it.

I couldn't find any solution using GARMIN Trip Waypoint Manager v4

So... what can I do to have Find option active in MapSource after splitting/converting an IMG map ???

Thanks for the instructions but it is far to complex for me to get it to work. Do you happen to have any programs that can allow me to download working golf course maps into my phone?

Hi,does this also work if the Garmin .img file is in NT format?..I have followed the TUT but mapsettoolkit halts with error E032: Layer0 of the map cannot be empty. The file I am trying to display is Garmin GB Discoverer!

The link to download GPSMapManager from "vip.hyperusa.com" is not working. Any possibility of uploading the software to rapidshare for download, please?

To anyone out there with a working copy of this software, please do share it with me.
