    Triangle Garm. Garmin Dezl 770LM logo stuck on screen

    Hello friends, I have already posted it in another forum, my friend, but without response. I have a Garmin Dezl 770LM with the Garmin logo stuck on the screen, it enters recovery mode but with the recovery file that I have from a while ago it does not recover, I cannot give the part number. If someone can send me the recovery file I would be very grateful.

    Why are you asking for a recovery right away? Try a software or/and hardware reset first, then other methods if that doesn't work

    Btw, wrong section

    you should browse it a bit

    Triangle Garm.

    The problem is that after applying the recovery patch the device remains the same, with the logo stuck and I can't enter its menu nor see it on the PC. It is possible that the patch is not the correct one, I have had it for quite some time and I have never used it.

    Sorry for the mistake, if you are so kind, move it to the appropriate section.

    I've had some experience with that device and so far I have not seen any recovery patch for it
    Unless you meant the patched firmware from FireFox? It was only intended for one hwid
    First, try a complete hard reset and then see if Garmin Express will recognize it and offer recovery
    If that doesn't work, then wait for one of the other member colleagues to respond. If I remember correctly, Garman_Nuvi posted firmware pack a while back.

    Later me or Neil will move this thread there

    @pacodelgps
    What exactly is that so-called "recovery patch" you used? If it's anything other than a properly made Cure firmware meant specifically for the dezl 770 including using the correct HWID as mentioned in above post, then you best give more info and a link to it. Note that flashing random files might make the initial problem even worse.

    You can check the device's [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] several ways, even if it's soft-bricked because [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] should still be available.

    Be aware that even if you flash the proper Cure firmware to it, it will still remain stuck on the Logo splash screen because the sole purpose of cure fw is to stall the boot process before faulty files are loaded thus re-enabling Mass Storage Mode so that such files can be removed. If a device has become bricked for some other reason, e.g. a wrong firmware has been flashed, then a different recovery method is required so you'll need to say exactly what you did along with linking it.
