Most people underestimate how difficult somebody else's job is to do. I do it myself, see something cool & say, I bet I can do that, how hard can it be!

Well, making skins or if you like Ux's , is really hard!

I am just a novice at this, but I'm sure even the expert programmers who make all these amazing skins will spend huge amounts of time applying their skill in learning the operation of the nextgen navigation app & getting to grips with how the programming has been written.
As with a lot of things there's usually more than one way of doing the same thing.

So perhaps you can understand why the experts are reluctant to commit lots of their free time to helping people out, they already have by creating the skins in the first place.

Anyway, as the original poster asked, how do you make a ux, here you are, here is one of the many ways, now how & what you put in it is another matter.

download, a very simple ux that displays the message "morco says hello" on the main navigation screen. it couldn't be much simpler.

Within the files there are pointers to how it works & parts named to hopefully make it easier to follow.

for use with the default skin,

( mixing with other skins or UX's can cause conflicts & malfunctions. This is another hurdle encountered when people ask for help )
