EXE is WinCE-Device
install a Primo for WinCE on SD-Card (i think max 4Gb), rename the EXE as igo9.primo.exe, have fun 😉
Hi,
I bought a second hand car unit with navigation on a SD card, it worked fine until the SD card broke and is unreadable. Unfortunetly I didnt make a backup :-(
The unit is a noname chineese thing, I see that the path to the navigation i something that says igo9.primo.exe. The unit version says HMI: A10v3_010.1.1
Can you make anything out of this? Does this mean it is android based? There is no way that I found to download new apps to the unit like it is on a phone.
Can I get back navigation do you think? Please advice.
best regards
Piotr

It is WinCe based. You need to know the resolution of the screen so you can download the right iGo package.
Extract the tool on the SD and set the path to WinCe device information.exe. It will show you the GPS reciever configuration and the resolution. Take a picture and post it.

First of all, you need to check the settings in your unit if you can manually set the path to Navigation which is on an SD card. Usually that is a standard feature of Chinese 2-din head units with navigation. In that case you can have any name for the navigation folder and exe (for example iGO folder with iGO.exe inside). But in case you cannot set the navigation path manually, then you need to figure it out which is the correct naming of the navigation folder and its exe file...but judging from your info regarding the name of the exe file (igo9.primo.exe) you can set the path manually since what you had it's far from any standard naming.

Thanks! the Toyota iGO Nextgen 9.19.1.665137 Aug 4 2016 WinCE.7z worked! it kicks of automatically when the unit reads the SD. I'm very greatfull to you all. Now the thing is that I have to find some maps that works, need for Sweden and central Europe.

".7z" iz archive package
I wonder why you chose NextGen despite the clear instructions
All maps work, you just need to have a license. And there is no license for WinCE NG
