if i use use_external_files_dir=0 then nothing gets saved, but it works, and each restart i go from zero
if no use_external_files_dir or =1 then many options from the skin do not appear, something gets scrambled somewhere

edit:
if i dont modify anything in the kit, it works fine for me now. just dont try to change any data folders, etc. so if you have multiple softwares, this one has to have the content all for itself

it looks like for some reason this apk does not ask for background location, so whenever igo goes to background, it loses gps. very annoying

Anyone who has problems with the TTS voice.
Try VocalizerEx2 + Boki's Universal TTS voice.

I installed the version without maps (from post #3 without maps) on my Samsung Galaxy A55 5G phone. I had maps from iGO_Israel, I couldn't download the rest, but for some reason it doesn't work. All permission is enabled.
The program starts, the language setting still works, after the launch stop. If I delete the save folder, the language setting still works, then the launch also stops. It does not print any error messages.
What could be the problem? Has anyone had a similar case?

And two more things to add:
1) Play Protect It calls the app malicious and asks me to uninstall it.
2) It insists on updating the app to the business version.

iGO World he second version I tested on galaxy M34-5G with android 14 works fine, tmc works!

the second improved version works, it saves favorite routes, the lane change assistant is half screen like in Avic, I added Becker and Gg_Soft diagram, I made the branding icons smaller on the map Fully tested program!

Regarding post #11 :
It is a very nice kit but there are two problems (just tested on S24 Ultra) :
1. You chose destination and nothing happens. You cannot navigate, only simulate (big problem, fine kit gets useless)
2. TMC is not working
Is there a chance to fix at least point 1?

Regarding post #15 :
I confirm : everything is working, but NO TMC! When I select TMC icon, it says that "Tomtom" iis the provider of the service, so I tried to delete Here maps and replace it with Tomtom : surprize... NO Tomtom maps are being recognised...
So TMC is not working and U.I. is not user friendly (kit from post #16 is very nice and user friendly, only cannot navigate and cannot use TMC also)

Permissions, restrictions exceptions ...etc ...

this method works on igo avic, not igo world
