    Default Nuvi 58 LMT maps

Hi. I have garmin nuvi 58 lmt navi bought in the UK 🇬🇧 in the device was map uk an Ireland. I would like to travel long journey from the Uk to Poland. This device has internal memory about 7.5gb so it's impossible to keep two maps gb&Ireland + west Europe. Ok, this device has also slot for mini sd memory card. Now is the question: if I upgrade this device with 32gb memory card, will it be possible to keep 2 maps? Garmin express at the moment doesn't show even such option to download more than one map. Atm 1.6gb is available from 7.5gb so maybe it's the reason but I am not sure and I don't wanna spend money for memory card that at the end of the day will be useless.

You can have maps as any you want if you use SD, but unfortunately, your device has LMT only for UK+IRL, therefore GE won't offer you a complete Europe map. To achieve that your unit's firmware needs to be patched first (to read unlocked maps) and only then can you use a complete Europe map which you can manually copy to SD. Unfortunately, we cannot post such solutions here on this forum which has strict policies on everything which is related to Garmin devices.
