Hello everyone

I would like to raise a point for discussion about safety while driving.
The motto is safety for the driver, safety for those driving around him and safety for pedestrians crossing/bursting and the like.
Maybe this topic has come up before, maybe not and if so, then it deserves a remake.
The level of traffic in terms of roads and infrastructure does not always improve, sometimes it deteriorates and this is of course specific in each country or in municipal areas within them.
The level of congestion on the roads has increased immeasurably everywhere and today, despite all the safety accessories and electronic alerts, and the day and night sensors and radars, the navigation apps do not align on the same front line and especially those with the developed skins.
In PONGO Skin, as in the others, I have the option to schedule in the cockpit the exposure of the slide on the side and the display of the buttons inside it, according to speed and time.
Well, I think that these two options should be canceled and that there should be only one option.
I think that the driver should no longer be given the opportunity to look away from the road to look at the buttons and send a finger to operate one of them while the vehicle is in motion.
The default should be that slide exposure is only possible in "0 km/h" movement mode and the user will have one option in the cockpit settings and that is to only determine how long the exposure will be in this mode: from 10 seconds to a minute? Up to a minute and a half?
that's it. As long as the current options exist and are open, the temptation to use them exists and there is no good reason or good cause, to "encourage the human instinct" to err on the slde of it.
Thanks for listening...
