Why not Basecamp from Garmin?
Can you propose a free program in order to view a simple Garmin .img raster map made with SASplanet and Google satellite imaginary ?
This is a test map.

The only free software I could find is the GPXSee but the map "jumps" while zooming in and out.

It worked with the portable version, thank you.
I just tried this and at least the current version GPSSee works fine & zooms smooth for me on W10.
Must say it's a great utility, well built, simple and snappy and with all the basic features you need. A bit like using MapSource compared to bloated and clunky BaseCamp and with the extra raster image features you need.
Very useful for quickly checking .img files with embedded rasters or jnx, drag & drop the img or open folders of images, drop in your tracks or waypoints for a quick look etc. And has a lot more functionality available deeper in if you want it.
Works great zooming in and out on multilayer .imgs like Topo Great Britain Pro.
Thanks for pointing this one out
