Default iGO Primo keeps disconnecting GPS receiver

Hi guys, I didn't find any topic with the same problem, sorry If I miss it. So I have a strange problem on (any) iGO Primo version on china no name GPS (wince 800x480). If navigation runs from internal flash (8 GB), GPS receiver is constantly keeps disconnecting and re-connecting. But if iGO runs from SD, everything works fine, GPS receiver is stable and it's not disconnecting. I cannot figure it out what could be the root cause of that problem.

Device: China no name 800x480 (RAM 256, Flash 8 GB)
    iGO Primo 9.6.13.405512

    here is my sys file:

Any suggestions are welcome, since I'm annoyed with an idea to use SD on a device with more than enough space on a flash disk (8 gb).

I've had that happen with more than one Chinese noname GPS.
I currently have one that will start the software and it appears to run, but it keeps dropping the GPS connection no matter what software I try on the internal flash drive.
Reflashing the firmware didn't fix it, any software runs fine from an SD.

I have two other devices that can only be used when Software is on, and run from an SD.

I believe the cause might be faulty internal flash drives, and if so there's probably not much can be done to fix them.
If it were me I'd either try reflashing the firmware, which would probably be hard to find the correct one, or I'd simply keep running the software from the SD and pretend it was running from the internal flash drive

    I agree
Besides, with some WinCE devices this is exactly why a GPS slot for a card is provided. No software is intended to be in it.

OK, note taken, thanks. Interesting, that specific device was in boot loop but I was lucky to find a firmware (obviously from some similar device) and I reflashed it and now everything works fine, except from this specific problem. I will use SD card and case is closed, no problem for me as it's a tiny investment. For me It was more to understand that phenomena because I always like to know the root cause of a problem. Anyway, I will also test (just from a curiousity) good old iGO8 and will report back.

    later edit:
OK, I tested iGO8 and it works just fine, GPS receiver is stable, but it autodetects different baud as Primo. So I use that baud also for Primo, but it still disconnects. So from my point of view I came to a final conclusion that it's not the problem with the hardware but in iGO engine (iGO8 vs Primo).
