Conversion Garmin Drivesmart 50 to Dezl 580

hi everyone

After flashing Garmin DriveSmart 50 to Dezl 580 bluetooth menu disappear.
i guess this is becauce Dezl 580 has WiFi, but not bluetooth.

is there options to add bluetooth driver to firmware?

Actually, after conversion it has firmware for bluetooth 7.0.16 P7 , but doesn't has <BLUETOOTH> in menu settings.
in this case it cant connect to smartphone to use SMARTLINK app

If you flashed FULL dezl 580 system fw to it thereby changing the HWID you can connect directly to GarminExpress to see if it offers more specific BT firmware for dezl. If you used hybrid fw with DS50 boot.bin and dezl 580 fw_all.bin etc., retaining the DS's original HWID, you should avoid using GE directly and instead copy the GarminDevice.xml (with the HWID changed for dezl) into a Garmin root folder on a USB stick or media card to use as a 'stunt-double' (i.e. a clone) of your device. If it updates then copy the relative files to appropriate places on your device.

I flashed full dezl 580. made RNG file from original GUPDATE.GCD v4.30 and flashed with updater. HWID changed from 2267 to 2826 in GarminDevice
there is all truck profiles, but it can not connect to the smartphone with SmartLink and Live Traffic.

i dont have real Dezl 580, but found this pic

Dezl 580 has WiFi and Bluetooth, but DriveSmart50 has only Bluetooth. I guess that is the reasaon that Bluetooth menu missing

btw, on Splash screen and about window still is named "DriveSmart 50". i have changing GarminDevice.xml <Description>dezl 580 but after restart its is back to DriveSmart 50? Any idea?

It's news to me. I didn't know that you could convert DriveSmart 50 to DEZL. I have converted numerous nuvi 2460s and one nuvi 2757. All works perfectly. On splash, they show dezl 2460 and dezl 2757, but otherwise there is no difference from real dezl. I will probably try later. The dezl 580 costs five times more than the DriveSmart 50. Although it's a little outdated, it's still a truck GPS.
