Nextgen Pal is good, better was Primo with GjAk-Arine Skin (Zooming / Visibility of the POI)

You can share a location from many apps with e.g. Maps2Geo to Nextgen. With POI-Search by Titanic52 for NG there is a good filter search.

And the most important; Thanks to the many profiles (even a car can be measured and weighted), I have always used the bus and a camper has exactly what it needs.

Only thing that has been neglected since Primo; Navigate by picture POI

By the way: MapsMe is an excellent overview for CamperPOI. Here, however, a KML has to be specially adapted, and a single category has to be assigned a colored pin.

Addendum experience:
Unfortunately, SendToNavigation is no longer available, and a location / point / POI with Maps2Geo directly to Nextgen is no longer possible. So another solution had to be found:
* MapsMe point is shared with SendToGPS - to Google.Map
** from Google.Map is shared with Maps2Geo, the tool then transfers the GPS data directly to Nextgen
