    Guide How to upgrade software on Mio 685?

    any body can help me
    i need to upgrade my mio spirit 685 and change the software to any software but i dont know how

    Connect your mio to pc and open device.xml file with a notepad. Check your device type as shown here for example from Mio 687:

    <type>SEEKER2_T620</type>

    the problem that i delete all the file in the directory mio and when its started its not recognize to usb and computer not recognize it

    when i switch the device there is missing message is : the product key is not valid
    please recover ypur product key via MioMore Desctop???


    what can i do ???

    here you go, try this:
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    unpack and copy all 3 folders to SD card:

    PROGS
    SEEKER2_T620
    SLIDE

    insert SD in your mio and restart it. Mio should boot in new menu. Than we go to another step, installing and configuring iGO Primo..

    ok sorry, than just rename folder SEEKER2_T620 to SEEKER2_T600

    where i can found it?

    unfortunatly the device didnt boot ?

    i renamed it but also its just booted for the MIO logo then usb connecting logo

    Did you follow my instructions? I'm not sure that you did. Lets summarise again. On a FAT32 formatted SD you must have this 3 folders:

    PROGS
    SEEKER2_T600
    SLIDE

    restart your Mio and it should boot in new unlock menu. If that solution doesn't work for you, than I have no more advice since you cannot connect mio to PC.

    for your information i have mio spirit 685 without SD card so when i formated the memory i formated all basic file so i repeat all steps but also unfortunatly didnt boot

    can you pls help me ?

    Than your only option is that you try to restore original software with MioMore Desktop. If that won't solve at least USB connection, than your device is bricked and you can use it only as a paper weight.
