I read some comments on GP that I should first try TRIAL version and than restore purchases. So I am going to try this weird and stupid way. NNG keeps surprising every day (not in a good way).

Hello lads
As you know speedcams are forbidden in some countries..and original iGO contains no speedcams for those countries.
Has anybody ever experienced fines due to a illegal speedcams and how they check it?
I am driving in Germany and 👮 never stops here so I find it impossible to be fined.
Stupid question but how do they check it?

They look/check your GPS device(s) to see if you're using it. Why you think people wanting to have button to hide or destroy speedcam data?

When the German police halts you (for some reason e.g. after an accident or a traffic violation or suspected intoxication) they can check your GPS. When they find evidence of speedcams (in Germany!!) then can punish you. However a few years ago a judge did conclude the specific legislation was not watertight and not legitable and the offenders get off free of any punishment. I haven't heard of a newer corrected law since, nor can I garantee that you won't get fined at all when the police finds speedcam files. I heard the police checks no more since.
That is in Germany and Germany only!!!!
In Switzerland and Austria you will get fined and the device will get confiscated! How they do that with an inbuild device is unclear to me.
In France, I know it's forbidden as well, though your GPS may give warnings for and show "danger zones" which of course are speedscams :D

I just noticed something.. in my original iGO WORLD I do not have
- road signs
- highway services icon
I tried creating ux folder and added hwdrive and driveralerts ux but unsuccessfully.
@Wob how about you? I have speedalerts but those two no. I tried options and ux but no luck.
EDIT: It works, for some.strange reason it doesn't work in simulation. In real test it works. Oh dear NNG...Last edited by Texas; 23rd October 2017 at 10:21 PM.

I haven't noticed that until you have mentioned.
Really, no Highway services, even there are settings for it?!? Road signs also...

"What's New in Version 1.5

Which VErsion do i have to buy if i want to use online search in germany with nextgen israel? I Just need this License File to test? is it here for testing?
