Hello!
Another newbie here with a question.
I have a Nuvi 205W and the following mapsets: City Navigator Europe NT 2010.1 ver. 13.10 as shown in mapsource, and RO.A.D. 2008 ver. 3.02 both unlocked with JM. I want to make a single mapset by merging both maps because in City Navigator the romanian map is less accurate. So i tried to use the mapsource tutorial and selected the whole City Navigator mapset, then deselected the romania map, then got into RO.A.D mapset and selected the whole romania mapset, and clicked sent to device (8 GB SD card). Put the card into the Nuvi, but my device keeps restarting over and over again. Then tried to merge the two mapsets with Gmaptool and it worked. My question is what did i do wrong with Mapsource? Why my device is restarting with the maps selected in Mapsource? Thank you!

Mapsource is a PC software: it 's needed to see maps on PC and to transfer them or parts of them on gps units
You have to navigate to get to the good.

I've installed BaseCamp 4.6.2 and MapSource 6.16.3 in Windows 10 and replaced both executables with the patched ones. I can upload small maps (e.g. Zwitserland) to my SD, however, when I want to upload a larger selection, the program crashes. Could there be a memory problem? Uploading map selections never used to be a problem in Windows 7.
