would it be possible to place to fw from the edge 1030 on the edge 1000?
If so, how?

Maybe. If they have the same basic hardware indicated by the same PCB P/N, which in 1000 is 105-02276-00, it might be possible. If 1030 has the same HWID as the 1000 (HWID 1836) then far more likely it's possible. I don't have a copy of the 1030's firmware to check so you'll need to source that to go further.

It's not possible. The edge 1030 has PCB P/N of 105-03164-00 so do not attempt a conversion, you'll brick your edge 1000.
