From card you can run only Primo 2.0 9.6.2.209584 or any NextGen version or Becker 6/7 .
From internal you can run any version of primo .
To put maps on card SDMMC\iGO_content\content\map + ... add in sys.txt :

thanks for sharing the instructions for unlock the 8500LM.
I chose to start from flash. It works for me but one question: I put Primo in the root, is that ok? because when I restart the device I get the message 'cannot find 'Primo' (or one of its components)'.

I have installed Primo . have used the second screen 'path route' to adress Primo. this works fine.
some minor issues :
- POI's are installed but not possible to activate, i cannot find any POI's when program starts
- I copied everything from my older MIO 680 included voices, but I cannot change voice/lang?
- history is not activated, earlier routes are not stored in History
- exit button in the programm not working.

can anyone help me?
