Hi!
Try this entry:
[sound]
android_muting_device=0
I have the same problem and I have tried the following setting in sys.txt without any success! Can anyone offer me some help please?
[sound]
;android_muting_device=0
;ding_muted=1
;### (1) read by dex file, 0 fix for Android 4.x
;android_muting_device=1

[android]
navigation_audio_stream=4
From your posts is not clear if radio sound recovers after navigation sound stops, or it remains silent.
it remain silent until i exit iGO and jump back to the radio app.
If I restart iGO, as soon as I clicked a button or other voice from iGO, it will cut off the radio or any other music source.
I have done more testing. If I muted the click sounds and the voice navigation in iGO (make the iGO completely silence), my radio continues to work without any interruption. However, as soon as I enable sound in iGO, any iGO sound will stop the radio or music until I switch the APP.
Any suggestion? the latest sys.txt that I am trying is.
os_volume=250

Did you try changing value of
[android]
navigation_audio_stream=4
;0-STREAM_VOICE_CALL, 1-STREAM_SYSTEM, 2-STREAM_RING, 3-STREAM_MUSIC, 4-STREAM_ALARM, 5-STREAM_NOTIFICATION
Muting any specific notification in sys.txt will not solve problem as muting is caused by any sound generated by program.
Yes, I have just done the testing from 0 to 5. none of them make a different.
is there any other setting in sys.txt that may change the way the iGO output sound?
try this...
[vmc_voice]
enter_script="sc_volmanager_voice"
vmc_effect=100
vmc_media=40
[volume_channels]
volumefade=3000
added the following at the end of the sys.txt but nothing has changed.
[vmc_voice]
enter_script="sc_volmanager_voice"
vmc_effect=100
vmc_media=40
[volume_channels]
volumefade=3000
the problem seems to be related to iGO APP, as soon as sound from iGO app kicks in, it mutes other sound source until i switch the app.
