    Identical screen and connections on 6x0 and 7x0. Wrecked the first one i tackled, but i'll never do that again. Had to use hot-glue and a cardboard wad to keep the 'back to front' ribbon in place because i tried to flip the clip from the wrong side and broke it. Nice you were smarter than me [for once] .

    Anyway, I have finished replacing the screen. You may well know that moment of truth when you switch the unit back on again to see if the screen works. Well, in this case it does, however... DANG!!!! What a disappointment...:

    The darn thing is PIN locked!
    I've got 7 night shifts ahead of me, so if work is quiet, it will give me some time to find the PIN by sequential trial and error...
