The diagnostics page of your device (according to the screen it is a dezl 560, not a nüvi 2460) states that the battery is missing. That would suggest to me that the battery is not seen by the device. Maybe a poor contact? Disconnect the battery from the circuit board, sparingly use some contact cleaner (NOT any WD40 or such lubricating substances!) on the small battery connector and try again.
