Hey all,
I was playing around on Google and found this link:
It looks like the .vpm file for KITT with different file names..Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
I was thinking if we could find the right FID and PID to use in Garmin Unlock Generator we could use it..
I've been looking for this for ages.. is it a breakthrough? help anyone?
Navtones site is dead. All available files are listed in Post #23 with tut in Post #8.

You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
tried catymag link but it won't worked, maybe it's for specific Unit ID.
as element1 said, perhaps try to find the right FID and PID to be use with jm...
I had seen the unlocked folder but it appears to contain unlock codes for other unit id's
when other vpm files are ******* like darth vader, how are the fid and pid determined?
Open the unl file, use the unlock code in Infotool and it will show you the PID, FID
i couldnt find the infotool, could you point me to ot please?
The Kitt voice from Navtones actually consists of multiple personalised vpn files which will address you by name according to the file purchased. As well as many common first names beginning with Aaron through to Zoe, there are other impersonal names such as Ace, Boss, Bud, Buddy, Butch, Buttercup, Cupcake, Captain, Driver, Dude, Homeboy, Lady, etc. etc. and also some celebrity/famous names like Elvis, Hoff, Oprah and Paris. Even Jesus is in there, and Napoleon gets a mention too.
The link in Post #1 will get you any of the files, but don't be temped to use a corresponding unlock file from the link in Post #2 because they are for specific Unit IDs and won't work with your device. I've made a little tut if anyone wants to use these files, I think it will work for all of them, but i've only tested some of them so no firm guarantee. Use Wordpad rather than Notepad to view this file:

You'll also need JetMouse of course: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Footnote: I've just realised that the Jesus file is actually for the Spanish name, pronounced 'HEH-soos' and not the English pronounciation 'JEE-zuss' for Jesus (the Son of God) as i thought, so they weren't being irreverent at all. Even I was relieved! LOL.

This works for Kitt files but Navtones took away the garmin stuff. I have backups of the other Navtones files but cant get them to work. Anyone have luck?

What files are you having trouble with and can you post then with full info of what you've tried so far?
PS: Welcome to Noeman. [so long as you're not from West Virginie]
