But wouldn't I have to change that on the device itself, and not on the SD Card as its plugged into my computer? Because as far as I'm aware I can't get into anything other than the menus in my headunit allows me to.

It's iGO 8, not primo or NextGen. It's quite ugly to look at, which is why I wanted something better. I should be able to run TotalCommander on it according to a guy on youtube, so I'll have a go at that.

You reckon I should just go back to trying to get NextGen or Primo to work? I tried this firstly and it wasn't successful. I might try again with the link you provided but I'm afraid it's something I already tried in my unit.

I have got this up and running okay on my Eonon double din, the only problem being that it doesn't actually navigate.
The map appears with the route highlighted but doesn't give any voice commands or recalculation.
Any help ?

I'm curious as to how you got the map to load, as I've been unable to on my Eonon 2-din device?

Just copy your maps and poi folder and the rest is good to go
Port is set to 2 and baud 9600

The only difference between yours and mine is lower case and upper case.
Mine is Storage Card1 and yours is STORAGE CARD1, It might be worth trying to change it in the XML file.
