Welcome Navigators,
Many of us while using the program iGO met and come to know the number of undocumented "tricks" of the program - those that make life easier and use the program. I propose that this topic to share them with other users.
For starters - screen size:
Recently, I have a lot of questions on how to determine the screen resolution of the device;
Of course we all know that you can download from the AM program ScreenSize, or the other is called Screen Resolution & Density - which by the way I give density - see ->
- "ok". - But what they have to do all of those who need to know the size of the already, and do not have access to the AM, or can not (can not) make a screen shot?
Solving the problem is very simple and within reach of every user, and it is based on the properties of iGO.
The program stops and displays a message when it encounters a file error while charging! We will use this feature!
Please do the following:
1. go to the directory iGO
2.zmienić data.zip file name to another - eg. 1data.zip (easiest way to insert any character from the "data".
3. save the change and exit the folder.
4. Start iGO (if necessary - vertical and horizontal)
5. hocus - pocus and we have a message - see screen:

As you can see my screen resolution (NOTE_2) is:
Vertical - 720x1280
Landscape - 1280x720
And the most interesting - this is the actual resolution, not a directory!
If I did the same for example. Lenovo Yoga_2 8" instead
directory 1920x1200 / 1200x1920 I read a press release
1920x1104 / 1200x1824
The message gives the actual size of the "hole" that iGO sees.
Enjoy the use of

Hi,
You have two options:
The first - insert the sys.txt this lines:
Welcome Navigators,
Tips for today - charging devices during navigation;
And helpful tips related to the use of the battery during charging and navigacji. My SAMSUNG-N2 although it is during the drive on the cable - consume a lot of energy and charging is not the end of it covered - it turns out that the problem is related to the reduction of software via USB charging current.
I checked it and on the route 500 km. I normally skiing down to 75% still had 93% under the same conditions - due to the fact that the tips work.
See for yourself

With it you can compare different chargers and USB cables how much they charge and also in what mode AC (best) or USB its charging.
I tested a couple of chargers both for AC and 12V with different cables and i found very big differences especially between different cables.
In my case i changed to an other cable and i have no longer any problems at all, always 100% charged.

Kalleh - thanks for the information.
My post refers to the program and not the equipment.
Some devices with Android (and not only) during processing - especially large files (hence the need to secure more energy for these processes) to programmatically load limit - and that no matter what the charger (although these are made in china crap ).
Companies that have shown to permit circumvention of these limitations - of course, as usual, "the devil is in the details" - and it can happen that someone can not do it.
In my 2 samsung's and Lenovo - passed the exam.
When you first start igo, or after removing the folder "save" the map will open on the location has just indicated by the (xx.xxxxx; yy.yyyyy) coordinates. The default is a city somewhere.
You can set this entry, eg. Your own home.
Useful for those who are doing something and remove SAVE. Do not have to run every time the cloud to hail a GPS signal, and to be able to simulate such route.
The coordinates of the place where we can be found in the GPS options in the program.
