Just connect your device with the PC. Maybe you have to unlock the maps on your PC with a Keygen. But then it should work. In Basecamp you have to choose wich map you want to use.
I have several maps on the sd card (.img). Because it is a handheld (GPSMAP 78) its hard to plan trips due to screen size.
Is there any way of importing the maps I have on the unit onto my MAC Basecamp. If it can't happen on MAC I do have the option of booting up my MAC in Windows XP SP3.

Basecamp can see maps in SD/Garmin , even locked ones, if they have MS flag 0.

You should use virtualisation, VMware for example:If it can't happen on MAC I do have the option of booting up my MAC in Windows XP SP3.

You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
I believe he has his Mac set up to dual boot, meaning he doesn't have to use virtualization.
