37xx or 34xx ?
put HWID of your current firmware.
34xx is 1376 - 37xx is 1101
Example of 34xx fw in RGNTool:
Dear catymag, I am afraid that I am still having a problem with understanding a couple of things in the backup procedure.
1. Do I just make up any 4 digit number to be my HWID number? Or must it be 0971?
2. Please tell me how to get and extract the boot.bin file using the RGN Tool.
Thanks,
George

Hi, I have a 3560LM. trying to do a NV backup as per instruction but without success.
The update.log show the following:
nüvi 35xx Series Software Version 3.00, UID: 3863xxxxxx, HWID: 3863xxxxxx
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Parsing "rrgn,41,1:/reg_41.bin"
Error: invalid command 'rrgn'
Error
Parsing "reboot"
Am I doing something wrong? I used the GUPDATE.GCD extracted from my firmwire update .exe file to create the boot.bin file using RGN_Tool.
Try to use this command:
rrgn,41,0:/reg_41.bin
In path use 0 instead of 1.
mong736
Error: invalid command 'rrgn' indicates that rrgn string was not recognized as one of the command strings.
If path 1:/reg_41.bin were not accessible, it would print only Error.
This looks quite weird. Can you upload your update.txt file? And also the boot.bin?

The rrgn command should work in any nuvi. Check you don't have a space before rrgn, although it doesn't look like you have from the log. Try using a different microSD or if you don't have one reformat the one you have using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], or this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Some cards are flaky and if the format is not just right nuvis will not play nice with them.
If that doesn't help, please post the ldr.bin and update.txt files you used as kunix asked. He's the expert is this stuff. BTW, '1' is the correct path for 2012 devices.

Believe me or not, this boot.bin doesn't support rrgn command at all (I'm not just guessing, I've disassembled it a little bit).
So you can't dump regions from this device
I wonder what's so important could be inside your device that Garmin doesn't want us to dump? Or maybe they're just closing security holes...?

Not nice I'll add this info in starting post.
