What name did you give the new (v4) file?
What was the name of the v3 file(s)?
Did you possibly overwrite the old files?
I have all four parts of v3 Topo Sweden installed on my Oregon 600. When I installed the new Gotaland v4, all four v3 maps are not visuable and can thus not be selected anymore.
Anybody else having this problem. Seems like v2 and v1 will stay untouched (saw that on my friends Oregon 600).
I downloaded from post#1.

I named the Topo Gotaland v4>>Götalandv4.img.
All v3 maps have unique names, no map is called gmapsupp.
No overwriting is done.
If I change file name of Götalandv4.img to Götalandv4.imgX, all v3 maps will reappear.
I have a lot of other mapfiles in a separate slash folder within Garmin folder. They are all X-ed out (.imgX) and shouldn't disturbe operation. At least it has been no problem pre Gota v4 install.
I believe the issue with Topo Norway Experience PRO is slightly different. With all 10 regions of that map family together, regions 2 to 10 will be suppressed by region 1 (Sřrvest). Removing region 1 will turn regions 2 to 10 visible again.
With Topo Sweden v4 PRO, all 4 regions of this map family together does not affect visibility of any of the four regions. But apparently it suppresses the visibility of the v3 map files.
Never use the letters ĺäö in file names. Try just to change the ö to o and maybe that will solve your problem.I named the Topo Gotaland v4>>Götalandv4.img.
Could it be the same problem with Topo Norway maps?
Can not be the case, I have tried different combinations. Once I even named Gotalandv4>> "gmapsupp.img". That didn't change anything.
It is not a big problem for me, since v4 probably is better than v3.
Version 2 (combined in one file) and v1 is still possible to use as alternatives.
Check your GPS (SD card inserted) with JaVaWa Device Manager, it is quite good in finding map-conflicts.
Actually I would delete all old maps and only use v4, do you think v3 is better?Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
My experience is the same doesnt matter what the file name is. I use StreetPilot Android.
I let Javawa investigate the SD-card. What differs about the Gotalandv4 is, that it has a sign for "Read only". Then there is a message in Info section:
"A read-only IMG file usually is a pre-installed map on SD. Do not remove this!".
Part from my old Gotaland v1, the rest of the maps do not have this sign/text/warning.
