Thanks alot.
Anyone have a tutorial to use SQL and BD?
I see, thanks,
additionally confused me that Garmin lists the GPSMap 60C and CS as compatible devices, but as far as I remember these were not able to deal with NT maps.
Thanks alot.
Anyone have a tutorial to use SQL and BD?
I can't get it to work even though I have the 4.20 firmware on the Montana. As arve28 said, anybody have a tutorial for the Sql / BD use?
Thanks
from this link you can download a test map;Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
So basically on the unlocked map I can't see the named trails at all (on the test map it works just fine). What am I doing wrong? Do I need to change the name of the DB file?

Hi,
The only change I noticed when updating from 4.10 to 4.20 is the red colour of pathes and trails (when "activity" is on "hiking") that doesn't disappear anymore when changing zoom level on my Montana.
To see the named trails (if you have a Montana), select "trails" in "where to go" : as soon as you select "trails", click quickly on central button at the bottom of the screen, and named trails will be displayed.
But with this new 4.20 firmware, I still can't see the activity screen as shown in post 6.
Thanks sergio2. I can see the named trails in the device now but not in basecamp (not patched). If I patch it will it work ? Any ideas?
Hi,
I did not know you could patch Basecamp.
But anyway .db file should work on not patched Basecamp.
I downloaded the two versions (image and Mapsource) of Topo Germany Pro 2012 which is very similar to Topo Transalpine (new active routing with .db file as well).
I put the .img file with .db file in Garmin folder on a SD card, then read this card in Basecamp : when I created a route, no choice of trail was proposed.
But when I created a route in Basecamp with Mapsource version installed on my PC, choice of trail was proposed.
In conclusion, .db file only works in Basecamp with Mapsource version and not with .img version !
Thanks for the info.
About the patched basecamp, I haven't tried it but saw the info in this thread :Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
Hi,
Patched Basecamp is only useful for displaying the most recent Garmin maps that have been unlocked with old unlockers generations as keygens.
If you use new unlockers generations (UnlockMapsource_v2.2 for example) for those new maps, you won't need patched Basecamp anymore.
