That may be a bit harsh? There are subtle differences in my copies.
Just checking one tile near home (the one with 10 year+ errors).

    Reported by GMapTool:

    v3.00 - 08288590.img, length 4268032 - date 28.07.2010 12:20:52
    v3.01 - 08300575.img, length 4268032 - date 15.10.2010 17:47:54

PS. I hope your v4 link is just a mock-up by Garmin. It still has road errors on the above tile that are probably 15 years old.
Even City Navigator dated 2010 has it correct.

    PPS.
    v3.00 - 702 tiles - 2,677,749,246 bytes
    v3.01 - 408 tiles - 2,673,087,488 bytes

    Hello:
I tried to unlock the map like other IMG file maps (with Jet Mouse), but it doesn't work. Normally I use Gmaptool to charge the map to Basecamp, and then I use Jet Mouse to unlock, and after that I put the map in the device. Now the map doesn't charge correctly in Basecamp. What must I do with the UNL arvhive?
    Thank you

    @calcatoupas
Reading the thread, even just reading catymag's post immediately above yours, would tell you that you must use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] on this map

Another big downer is the simple fact that on low end devices these topo maps are almost useless as you either have a totally clutter map view or only the most basic track view without any height lines.
Dedicated Garmin devices as well as the high end models will clearly benefit from this new map, but low end models and the multi-pupose-devices, like the Nüvi500/550 are no match for that map.
These models are far better off with a proper track/road map plus an additional topo-only map for re fence to switch over if you feel the need for it.

Again, for those that only fly over the text:
Pro: very good track coverage, good level of detail
Con: only for "good" Garmin devices, no real track info's, no info about permanently closed or private tracks and permits. No track ratings either, meaning you won't have any info if you and your car are suited for a track that appears to be easy going on the map.

G'day ol' timer (i'm probably older, so i shouldn't use that term)
Start here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
Lots of info here too: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
You can load the *img file back into [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to see it on your PC. The *img can be put directly into either the unit or sd's Map folder (create it if not there) named anything convenient eg 'wotevayawant.img'. Best to use the sd for maps unlocked with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
    Welcome to Noeman.
Edit: Sorry, forgot this is a Topo thread, it's bigger than can fit on the nuvi, so you may as well leave the image named as gmapsupp.img and put in the Garmin folder of an sd of minimun size 4GB.

Ummm....Quick draw, often means inaccurate shot. i.e. I hope you saw my Edit on the previous post. Don't forget too that you need to de-select any CNNTAUNZ you may have loaded or there will be a conflict with this Topo. Select 'North Up' or Track Up' for best results, not 3D when using a Topo. Also a Nuvi can't display all the features that a handheld unit can e.g. terrain shading. More info:

It's good to still have teeth and be able to sink them, hey?
