Garmin Great Britain topo v2

at catymag
i downloaded the later version (2010) of the map, installed it on c:, replaced the topo...tdb file and ran the unlockmapsource tool -still mapsource reports the map as locked; then i tried the unlockmapsat tool, same result, using jetmouse tool gives me an unlock code but i cannot enter it reasonably into mapsource unlock screen because in the map folder i can only unlock online (which certainly is no good choice) and in the region folder the map is not listed
not sure if i am too stupid or what is wrong ...
in the past i was quite good in unlocking stuff with the great forum tools but it seems i am out of practice, sort of ...
can you pls.help me ?

it's not clear what you downloaded because you posted in this thread, this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] you mentioned is not the latest, the latest version is this one of 2015: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and like the 2010 one is an img and not a pc version.
Anyway img with FID greater than 2200 cant be unlocked by JM, you must use gimgunlock:

Gmapsupp.img maps can be loaded in Basecamp from a Garmin directory in sd. Mapsource (discontinued) is not suitable for raster maps like GB Discoverer maps and topo maps in general.
