"Problem with maps" - You cannot use this map on this device India-909.
How can this error be eliminated in TomTom?
Now working.
Didn't know about "o" & "t" versions of the India APK.
Read the thread and figured it out.
Thanks.

i followed the instructions but still get unable to connect
Recopy again the METADATA.XML file into FILES folder.
If you use a MAC PC, it change the name of the Metadata.XML file...........
But......you have KitKat 4.4.X on devices ? If yes and into External SD :
Spoiler: KK 4.4.X EXT SD

(The google play licence of your application is not valid. Please contact google if you think this is a mistake)
Hello everybody,
If you are agree, here is a tutorial "how to install tomtom maps on android Kitkat 4.4".
I hope my english will be understandable.
First of all, you have to choose a map compatible with fastactivate or androidKG dfox meta.txt. (see the different topics about that)
Create .dct with fastactivate taking a771la multi-map version.
Create metadata.xml with dfox: use the built-meta (France for example, but the meta of any map can be use, it doesn't matter), only change size 0 without changing anything in the others settings
In the metadata.xml, change the files names of com.tomtom.yourcountry to com.tomtom (without the name of your map).
Use tomtom apk a771la and copy it on the download folder of your internal SD.
then:
1 / Copy the folder "tomtom" on the root of the internal SD
2 / install tomtom
3 / Test tomtom
4 / move the folder "files" and the ".metadata.xml" tomtom file from the root of the internal SD:
\tomtom\ com.tomtom\
to the directory at the root of the SD External:
\ Android\data\com.tomtom\files\ (PS : this folder is created after the install of the apk.)
So you have your tomtom map installed as follows:
\Android\data\ com.tomtom\files\files + .metadata.xml
5 / delete the directory "tomtom" on the root of the internal SD
This tutorial works fine with my Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE on android 4.4.4.
To have the externe SD CARD access, you will have to see some tutorial about "how to access to SD card on android 4.4"
Good luck.
