Hmmm, that one seems challenging... Ok, try this operation....Copy all of the files from the nuvi memory to your computer. (Make a full back up.) Then format the nuvi memory, if I am not mistaken, in FAT 32 then copy back the files in the memory of the nuvi. See is the GarminDevice.xml corrected.

sorry for my English and thanks
@ tsifo304
Yes, try the firmware I have posted in the previous post. Should give you access to the memory of the unit.
Can you write more how update firmware from sd-card ??
Better use boot mode to flash the firmware.

thanks for your help, but GarminDevice.xml is still bad
Does anyone know how to fix the XML file ? Bad content is always generates after flash with new firmware..
RESOLVED !!!
...after all experiments with the "cure" the firmware was a single solution: Flash device with the firmware which device went wrong, in my case again with a flash japan alternative fw ...
Before it is good to reformat the device memory as advised ddabcd277. After that just use WebUpdater and GarminDevice.xml has been corrected.
Thank you again ddabcd277.
You are welcome my friend!!! Glad that everything is ok now. Think that information will be useful to others facing similar problem.
