GTM26 Power Cable Issue

The GTM26 power cable is no longer supplying power to my NUVI. I tested the NUVI with another cable and it worked fine so the issue is with this particular GTM26 cable. I've heard that the fuse in the cable can be the issue but the light on the cable comes on when plugged in, does this mean the fuse is OK? If so, what other issue(s) could it be? Or do I just need to replace the cable?

Must likely must be a problem on some internal wire of cable. Normally happens near of the USB connector..
