    Default TomTom third edition power/pinout?

My TomTom has a USB connector and some sort of round connector on the bottom.

    1. What is the round connector used for?

    2. Does the USB mini b have a special pinout or just the standard +5 on one edge pin and GND on the other end? Garmin NUVI for example will not draw power properly unless the identifier pin is linked to the GND pin using a particular resistor.

Just wondering since I don't want to use this thing and then have it run out of power during a drive.

Also, what are the power specs? 5V 500mA?

    Default

The voltage must be 5 volt DC of course
I think you mean the 3.5mm connetor, that could be for an external areal or for life traffic updates
To find out which model you have go to this site and enter the first two digits of your serial number, than search for a manual for your system to be sure which connector it is
