tried to put a new map on this device and it says cannot be used , there is no reset button anywhere and everytime its connected to pc now it says usb port malfunctioned and can't connect to pc , any help appreciated !

you have to path the vavcore of your device and than you have to patch the map with autoactivate, give us more info about your tomtom and te navcore you're using
