Download with app on your mobile phone, then copy entire folder on PC or directly to mSD card, then copy that on unit.

TomTomGo map update whithout wifi or data connection
Is it possible in any way to download the maps onto a usb stick or something and install that instead of downloading over wifi / data ??
In my car headunit the wifi is very slow (known issue on rk3188 units, wish i knew of it before i bought it) so that's why i would like to add the data in a different way.
with you geniusses here, i hope there will be a solution shortly

There is no use for it because HU's wifi is slow.
He didn't specified what unit we are talking about...but if it is android based, there is a good chance that via USB he can connect a good 3G/4G modem (or an external wifi receiver).
