Hello,

I don't know where to post this message. It might be interesting to create a topic for this situation concerning private messages:
When members ask for help in private messages, it would be a good idea to check that their mailbox can receive a reply!
It's very annoying to write a more or less lengthy reply and then, just as you're about to send it, realise that the requester's mailbox is full.

So to get started :

normally, the message should remain awaiting dispatch in your messaging until the mail is distributable or the recipient has been notified, which leaves the sender as appropriate to modify its text,

If you are faced with a loss of message that you think is important that it has arrived at its destination, the best thing is to add yourself as a secondary recipient, your copy of the message can be easily deleted from your inbox, or transferable to its final addressee.

To my knowledge, members of different levels have different number of PM they can use.
They still have the option to save PM's off the site to a folder on their phone /PC.
Yes, it is annoying member don't maintain their account properly.

Technically, members are supposed to post if they need help in the thread, so others can see or help with.
humaxman is either a prolific leecher or likes giving lots of likes.

But, you can always open member's profile, at top select tab 'Visitor Messages' and post any message you like, and as many as you like.
Without any limit.

For example, to clean up PM Inbox.

There is no limit for this kind of messages.
And also, that member gets notification about received message.

As you can also post a message in your own profile, it is possible to have complete conversations this way.

My suggestion with members requesting how to via PM to do something they are just getting stuff for free so no one else has the privilege to it, so my suggestion is DON'T give one on one how to do stuff.
Just post it in the thread as "@xxxxxx this what you do"
Even if you hide the text under LIKE, better for all to see than just one, whom may just be a leecher.
