BaseCamp and MapInstall universal patcher

I uploaded the patch again and it gives the same error. I assume the forum is broken

I did update Garmin Basecamp to ver 4.7.2 - and wanted to use the universal patcher. I get an error now...
It says: "dup2patcher.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again ..."
What to do?
And by teh way - why do we need to patch basecamp? It seems to run fine ver 4.7.2.

Do you know if this tool or some other similar can be used to patch basecamp to allow to load custom JNX, since the closing of birdeye subscription?
