Disable spoken speedcam alerts with TTS

Hi All,

I have searched but not found the answer to this. I would much prefer to have the beeps rather than less frequent spoken alerts regarding cameras but can't see how to achieve this with a TTS voice (which I want to use for street names).

There is no way of knowing without looking at the map when you have passed a camera so you have to look at the screen and speedo. The beeps however stop as soon as you have passed the camera so only require attention on the speedo.

I am using IGO 9.18.x nextgen Israel

I mean it depends on what you wear now, you can modify or replace it

There are some excellent indications in iGO tutorials and others, from Brown Dog and Wojpen that will guide you.

However there are issues of detail, distances, overspeed, activate the sound that you consider more appropriate etc that you should go tuning to your liking

I tried the first suggestion and nothing changed, "and into yor sound ubicated in ui_nextgen/sound" no idea what this means ??

The second suggestion removed all voice alerts such as over speeding. I want all voice alerts like these and only have the speed camera one as beeps. Is this possible?
I looked at the link you posted but it seemed to be about wanting voice alerts for cameras in unsupported languages, rather than having beeps.

I saw something about using

approach_beep_tonal_type=0
approach_beep_spoken_type=sound
approach_beep_sound="!alert1"

from Osiris instead but this didn't work, it maybe a non nextgen solution Please could anyone help?
