Reply With QuoteNup, mine appears original because it's quite knocked about. Came with the 2 year old 3790 second-hand and it belonged to a taxi owner previously judging by the kilometres before i reset the unit, but was very cheap. Are you buying oem or after-market cradles?

Garmin 37xx Bracket
I've just had my third bracket (part that grabs on the unit) broken.
Are you guys also going through this?

Nahh, I bought it, only and very careful owner... Both were originals. One came with the unit, the other Garmin sent me after I complained about the first breakdown... (It was still under warranty)

Certain Cleaning products,Chemicals and Fumes can cause plastic to deteriorate quickly, become brittle, and Break.
There is no known complaint on the Net about these cradles breaking due to bad manufacture.
You could try to claim from Garmin again, maybe you get lucky.The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.

U can buy it on ebay. But the price is also high... beware..
