Gpsmap threshold time while moving

Hi. I have a Gpsmap 62s and i have a small problem. I let the device display me the total time of a hike and also the time while moving. The problem is, that this value is absolutly wrong. I think the problem is that the treshold-value for "what speed is still moving" and " what speed means the person stopped" is wrong.
Does anybody knows a possibility how i can change this value?

I use a 62s as well for hiking and I don't rely on those values because you are wright, they are not good and I don't think you can do anything about it. I think it has something to do with the capability of the unit to track you when you are moving at a very low speed. The best thing you can do is make sure you have the latest firmware update, I'm pretty sure I saw something when latest update came out about an improvment of the sensitivity of the receiver.

Yeah, i've installed the actually latest (v 4.30) firmware a few days ago. And in the changelog is written "increased sensitivity while moving at low speeds". I hope that will help a little bit, because with the former versions i had it was horrible. Even the daily distance the device shows me was horrible. The device told me i traveled like 27 km but i was sure the distance was only around 22 km.
An inspection of the gpx file lateron ont the pc showed me that i was true with the 22 km. Thats really annoying.

The only nice thing that i can use with the device is actually the maps itself. But everything made with the tripcomputer is nearly useless. I hope there will be some changes in the future.
