BMW Garmin 3760T Problem

HI, I have a problem with my new GPS. I Power on the GPS but it never charge the main screen. It always stop on the next screen:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I have done a firmware cure with 250, 360 and 470 version, but I'm always getting the same.

What can I do?

I also have a question: The HwID number is always the same for all Garmin 3760T models? ie: 1101?

In preboot mode select USB and in GPS menu click on Get GPS ID-
Or if you have your backup , look at Garmin device.xml

When did you get it? (I notice copyright 2010 not 2011.)
Is it really brand new ? (Never opened box ?)
What happen next (after BMW logo) ? reboot or freeze ?
Have you ever used it before ? (access to the main menu.?)

3760 @ 2010 even cure with 4.70?
very familiar the issue, very close to be 37xx.

This is a special version of nuvi 3760 specially designed for BMW and only sold through the dealers of BMW world wide. Want to take hands of such device...Maybe puenteador will be willing to share some firmwares from his device...

I forgot...most probably there is problem in the file system.

I'm pretty sure all branded firmwares are just the original ones. But the settings (NVM, and so on) do differ. If no cure firmware works then it's time for Alexander to come into play

I have solved the problem.
I have download the 470 (latest) firmware version from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and I have modified all these extensions: .GCD .gpx .gpi .zip .vpm .img .jpg .srd .srx .asr .srf and .gcd
And I have also modified these hexa values (as ddabcd277 said in that post):

Find and Replace everywhere in the .rgn (boot+fw_main):
30 00 3A 00 2F to 00 00 3A 00 2F
31 00 3A 00 2F to 00 00 3A 00 2F
30 3A 2F to 00 3A 2F
31 3A 2F to 00 3A 2F

Since I have installed the cure, the GPS works fine!!
Then, I have delete all the files that I created yesterday and installed the complete version (without the cure). Now works fine

Someone have to make a cure firmware patcher. I think turboccc could add this functionality into his RGN_Tool.

Glad my post helped you! I had forgot about it.

To be honest I am really tempted to see what software is inside of your unit. Maybe if others are interested too. I have seen by accident such unit in a car exhibition putted in one of the BMW 3 series. But I didn't have time to look at it. I remember that it had different (better) made mounting cradle than the standard garmin is offering.

BTW can you make some shots from the menu of your unit? Do you know is there some difference in the functionality compared to the standard 3760? Can you make a shots also of your cradle?

It is about time if you ask me Turbo to put this simple function in RGN Tool.
