Garmin support

Problem with my 3790 is solved - see [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

What is interesting - i'm 2 times contacted Garmin UK support site(that's for my country) and they do not respond at all! As is known, 3790 device is a bit buggy(for example US/EU version doesn't display POI and so on), and company leaves us alone with problems?

What are your statistics in similar cases?

If you talked with Garmin and told them about the cure firmware, they won't answer. Cause this is not their responsibility anymore.

My experience with Garmin, answer at once, repair units or exchange them even out of warranty

My experience isnt so nice about 3790 bugs, I've got kind replies, but completely useless,
but it's not their fault, problems must be solved by programmers with a new firmware-

I don't mention any cure firmwares :D - only unsuccessful map upgrade from Garmin site.

I took the same experience with the the german garmin support.
Email --> Autoreply.. please contact the support in your country ..
Telefon --> Sollution for ALL QESTIONS: Please send the sevice to garmin.
I fixed the problems using my own brain and this forum...

Yep... strange behavior for company. If nothing changes, i'm seriously thinking next time switch to smartphone with Garmin app availability..
