I hope you don't mind a question or 2 I can't find a answer to my questions with my drive 40LM can I simply drag & drop unlocked files into the POI folder
I'm also looking at garmin dash cameras which also use the same databases would it work in the same way in theory
Many thanks
Some devices can use unlocked files and some can't.
The easiest and fastest way to your answer would be try and see if they are working or not.
What device ?
Check in About>Extras & Safety Cameras to see if they there. Use simulation mode to test.

@frankou,
It has never shown the cameras with "danger zone"
All it lets you know that some place along your danger zone area there is a speed camera.
It could be with in 100 meters or 2 KM away or near the very end of the danger zone area.
It is against the law in France to post speed camera on any GPS platform.
Garmin Cyclops Safety Camera Samples are they just samples or are they the full version thanks
Yes, an up to date sample of the twelve month subscription. They still contain full data/information.
Garmin themselves ship their devices out with Cyclops Safety Camera Samples.
Please stop asking questions via a PM ,that is what the forum threads are for.Quote:

All compatible Garmin sat navs contain our unique driver safety system with full coverage of speed and safety cameras across Europe: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, FranceČ, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Slovenia, Sweden and United Kingdom.
Why are these called "Samples"?
Are they working? Or where can I find working ones?
