@arvi,
Then why don't you post it here for other users seeing you can get them from Garmin Express.:shake:
Instead of complaining that Garman_Nuvi did not post them..........

Just so everyone knows, I can only share what is available.
Next week we do what is unavailable :lool:
I find it crazy to get every week or week and half speed camera updates.
Spoiler: The weekly updates
Just last week I updated my Garmin and again a new update.
Have not gone anywhere that one needs weekly updates.
Lots of time I do not even update knowing next week there is one coming.
Even then I do not update it.
Most users drive locally and that covers back and forth to work and shopping.
Everyone knows where the speed cameras are where they live and give or take 60km radius around.
One has no way of knowing when you take a long trip if these updates even cover everyone of the speed cameras out there.
That goes for all the different GPS apps out there.
You see almost everyday posts about speed camera updates as the most posts lately on the forum.
I find it far better to have map updates to correct mistakes then updating speed cameras weekly.
This is just my thoughts in regards to speed camera.
Even if it helps one person, then the speed camera update is justified.
Like you said it is impossible to tell which country's speed cameras were updated. It could well be a remote place in Scotland that you wouldn't have visited but might help the person living there.
Hello everyone, I would also like to say my opinion.
I feel I can give my full support to Aspirin624.
These DataBases Cyclops, born and created with the best of intentions (I think the geo corridor, very useful), are proving to be a real "flop".
They are full of errors (I have verified dozens of them on the Italian territory, and therefore I believe that these errors are also spread over the rest of the world).
The fact that they always grow in number also means that the Errors grow accordingly
The fact that they are released on a weekly basis only means creating "confusion" and waste of time.
An update (real and not for commercial purposes only) every 2 months would be sufficient and more appropriate in my opinion.
As far as I'm concerned, I haven't used them for some time but everyone is free to make their own choices.
What I disapprove of are attacks on other people's opinions, ALL opinions are worth considering.
These "attacks" are signs of absolute disrespect and total "ignorance"
A cordial greeting to all
The files for your region indicates camera data is updated around twice a month. A quick binary comparison of the last changes for BelgiumLuxembourg_safetycam.gpi:Quote:

That's 4 changes in 10 weeks, close to twice per month.
I have no idea of the rate of the camera deployment in your region but the Cyclops data is regularly updated
The Australian data is very accurate so it probably varies by region.Quote:

No-one is disagreeing about the frequency of updates, I also would be happy with 1 to 2 months.
But incorrectly implying the releases don't contain updated data needs to be corrected and stick to facts.
sorry for a noobish question. First time here. I tried reading the first post in this thread to understand what I need to do and I am just confused...I tried doing more research and got even more confused.
When putting these POIs on my Garmin DriveAssist 51, they do not show up. What am I doing wrong, did I miss the trick?
This model should come with Speed Cameras updates via Garmin Express.
I would check with Garmin Expess first.Quote:
In some regions, some product bundles include pre-loaded red light and speed camera data with lifetime updates.
You can use the Garmin Express™ software (garmin.com/express) to update the camera database stored on your device. You should update your device frequently to receive the most up-to-date camera information.
Spoiler: Here is the manual to you Garmin:
Where did you copying the .gpi files to,they should go in your POI folder on the device. To see they are installed check in Setting>Device>About>Extras and Safety Cameras.Quote:

Where is your device from as not all DriveAssist 51's are created equal when it comes to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] "NOTE: This feature is not available for all regions or product models."
